World Lung Cancer Day

Did you know in the United States; lung cancer is the second-most common type of cancer. Prostate cancer is more common for men, while breast cancer is more common for women.

Civic holiday: Monday, August 3

In all provinces, except for Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and Yukon, every first Monday through August is a holiday. On this day, VaCC, Surrey campus will be closed.
