If you weren't already excited about Halloween being on a Saturday this year, it's about to get better!

At 2:00am on November 1st the clocks go back an hour, giving us an extra hour to celebrate our favourite spooky Holiday.

October 26: National Pumpkin Day

National Pumpkin Day recognizes a favoured autumn decoration and food. Not only do they make great fall decorations, but the pumpkin also completes a variety of tasty recipes. Visit a pumpkin patch and get into the fall festivities.

World Mental Health Day: 10th

Mental Health can be a very hard topic for lots of people. So not only on October 10th, but every day make sure that you are checking up on the ones you loved most, and help out those in need.

Thanksgiving

Canadian Thanksgiving is October 12th

be sure to spend lots of time with those close to you and take this Holiday to celebrate the harvest and other blessings of the past year.

Halloween Social Media Contest

We are currently running two easy-to-enter Halloween contests on our social media channels to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.

Students can enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card on Facebook by being one of the first 200 people to like the post or a $50 gift card on Instagram and Twitter by tagging in their friends.
