Our Practical Nursing program gathered staff and students on the campus on July 19th to learn about various mental disorders. Their presentations included Bulimia Nervosa, Bipolar Disorder, Dissociative identity disorder and Munchausen Syndrome. On July 25th, these new students began their journey toward their future careers. Students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program, and others in the Practical Nursing program. Shelley Bell from career services led them in orientation and gave everyone backs packs and water bottles as part of our Welcoming Package! We can't wait to watch them grow into their new careers!
The Abbotsford Library offers many FREE services that you may find helpful: quiet study spaces with Wi-Fi, printing & photocopying, and a catalogue of adult learning materials (ADLs) that can help improve your English reading and writing skills.
