On this special day it is encouraged for people to bring their furry companion to work with them. This holiday is celebrated on the Friday after Father's Day and is the perfect day for showing your canine pal where you go every day.

Working Dogs of Abbotsford

With National, bring your dog to work day this month we need to give a shout out to the working dogs of the Abbotsford Campus! Not all pups are seen here but these furry friends bring so much joy to the staff and students. The pups always manage to steal our hearts and our snacks. Thank you to our Paw-esome Pups Tucker, Bandit, Daisy, Puddles and Sadie!

Fathers Day BBQ Sauce

1⅓cup ketchup                              ¾cup brown sugar

¼tsp cayenne                                 ¼cup molasses

16once pineapple juice                2tsps cornstarch

½tsp black pepper & onion powder

2tbsp Worcestershire & apple cider vinegar

1tbsp dry mustard  & paprika

1tsp garlic powder, salt & hot sauce

COMBINE: Add ⅓ cup water along with all the ingredients to a saucepan and whisk. Bring to boil over med-high heat once smooth.

SIMMER: Lower heat for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.

SERVE: Brush on your Fathers Day Meat
