Carnaval Del Sol, the largest event celebrating South American culture in the Pacific Northwest was recently held in Vancouver. The two-day celebration of Latin culture began on July 8th and lasted until July 10th.
This year, the theme revolved around Flora and Fauna, with participation from all around South and Central America. The attendees were seen enjoying salsa, samba, and other types of Latin music in the outdoor festival setting. The event also featured a variety of delectable food stands and captivating cultural acts for the audience.
Vancouver Career College was one of the proud private sponsors for this event. It was the perfect opportunity to give back to the community where our staff and students live, work, and attend school.
