End of Year Highlights

Despite this year being challenging, we've continued to highlight and celebrate our wins and achievements for the year. Let's looks back at 2020 and reminisce on the positive memories we've shared together.

 

In January, Vancouver Career College donated $5,000 to Seabird Island Band's Christmas Hamper program. Seabird Island is a multi-faceted First Nations organization that includes government, business, service, and non-profit. You can read more about this initiative here.

 

On February 26th, our campuses participated in raising money for Pink Shirt Day, a day to bring awareness and eliminate bullying. We raised $1,000 for anti-bullying programs across the country. You can read more about this initiative here.

 

While many of us had to stay at home during April, we found ways to encourage our students to be productive. You can read more about these useful tips to focus and limit distractions here.

Back in September, we hosted our first virtual open house, where prospective students could learn about the accelerated training programs that we offer. You can read more about this event here.

 

In October, Vancouver Career College and Thompson Rivers University announced a partnership on a new articulation for a degree pathway. You can find out more about this partnership here.
