Surrey, BC – Our most dedicated student, Mavis Pelley, crossed the stage last weekend during our BC Graduation ceremony.
Mavis came to Vancouver Career College, not only to attend a program, but simply to improve herself. Seven years ago, Mavis was provided with a Student ID and computer login, and over the years, she has committed herself to showing up promptly once a week to practice her computer skills – including how to address emails and letters and best practices for Internet research.
Mavis also enjoys listening in on classes, learning more about the different programs, and interacting with current students.
In her free time, Mavis is an avid bowler. With a 100-pin average, she is an active member of the Sunshine League, as her and her brother visit the bowling alley every week.
We continue to be inspired by Mavis and want to recognize her for her diligence, punctuality, and the positive spirit she brings to our campus. We look forward to seeing Mavis every week, as she is part of the Vancouver Career College family – hopefully for many years to come!
