Coquitlam, BC – April 23, 2014 – According to WorkBC, demand for veterinary services has doubled in the last decade thanks to the growing number of households adopting pets. This has led to an increased need for veterinary assistants, technicians and support staff to keep practices running smoothly.
Vancouver Career College will host an Info Session about its Veterinary Assistant program in Coquitlam on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The session runs from 6:00-7:00pm.
At the Info Session, guests will have a chance to learn how the Veterinary Assistant program will train them to provide essential clinical and administrative services in a wide range of animal care facilities. Along with learning about the ins and outs of the program, they’ll hear from a practicing vet technician about what it’s like to work in the field and find out about career opportunities for graduates. Instructors and campus staff will also be on hand to answer any questions.
